The staff is super friendly. The lounge is cozy, the menu and food is pretty good but is a little pricey and an automatic 15% gratuity with a group over 6. There isn't a restaurant nearby. The rooms are nice, clean sound proof from other tenants but you can hear the airport. There is an indoor heated pool, hot tub and an impressive 120 foot water slide.

I am very pleased with the Best Western St Johns. I am a shift worker that frequently works in the city. While I know it's not always possible due to how busy hotels can be, staff at the front desk of the best Western go above and beyond to allow for early check in and late check out every chance they get, which really helps night shift workers from away get some needed rest. In turn this means safer highways and happy guests. I would highly recommend!

Booked a room many months in advance flying from the states. The day of, our flight was cancelled and we were not going to make the reservation at our original time of 11 pm and instead landed at 5:30 am the following day. The hotel is independently owned and operated and refused to offer a refund or credit and instead charged us the full price of a room from 6 am - 12:30 pm the following day. The shampoo and conditioner they offer is awful and smells like cheap essential oils. No breakfast is offered, only a restaurant and a small cafe. The employee working the cafe had no idea how to make any drinks. I asked for an iced vanilla coffee and she served two drinks without any ice?! No hope for the employees here. Would recommend the other hotel in the parking lot of the airport. You cannot walk here from the airport with luggage. The hotel did not offer any shuttle service which is unbelievable.

This hotel was super nice. The downside was it seems that the water slide didn’t work properly because it wasn’t turned on. The pool area was pretty gravely. Didn’t feel super clean. The rooms were nice and clean! I did request a crib and the playpen that they brought to me looked fine. But once putting it together, I noticed baby vomit on it which I then had to clean off. I also had to ask for a sheet for it so my child wasn’t just sleeping on the vomit.. For the price of the stay, I would just recommend going to an Airbnb but this was a last minute decision aka day of so I had limited options.

With in walking distance of the St. John's international airport. But don't worry; there is shuttle service! The desk supervisor (Steve), was excellent to deal with! Got me upgraded to a bigger nicer room. Very helpful! The room was spacious. King size bed and a fireplace. Very clean and organized. Fast free Wi-Fi, aswell as many amenities available during your stay. I'm going to recommend their restaurant, Amelia's. But dine when it is a bit slower as I found the servers a bit too busy to remember the little details like Chipotle not ranch sauce please. Friendly service none the less. Food was really good. Try the Amelia burger and onion rings! Wake up call was on time ; check out made easy; and shuttle service was prompt! Highly recommend this hotel!!
