Housekeeping walked in on me in the bathroom. Large glass chunks on the floor missed by housekeeping from previous guests. Room has great harbour view. Parking situation wasn't great. Parking garage under construction. Overall disappointing for what should have been a great hotel.

The Delta in St. John’s has a few good things going for it, but it falls short of what you’d expect from a Marriott Bonvoy property. On the positive side, the conference rooms are top-notch, and most of the staff deliver excellent service, though a few seemed a bit unsure or hesitant. The food is great, the beds are comfy, and I appreciated the free bottled water in the room. Fresh towels are provided, and the shampoo and shower gel smell fantastic. However, the rooms desperately need an update. Mine had an old brown carpet, plastic wood paneling straight from the seventies, and a mix of beige and orange decor that made it feel really outdated. The door to my room was visibly damaged from the outside, and there was even a strange red liquid on it, which didn’t help the vibe at all. The pool area is in poor shape. The sauna is in a deplorable state, the hot tub produces weird foam, and there’s visible rust and wear throughout. In the men’s shower, the drain was clogged, and I noticed green mold in the corners along with grimy tiles. The locker room is just as neglected, with broken and missing locker doors. Overall, this place doesn’t feel like the usual Marriott Bonvoy experience. It’s in serious need of an uplift.

I stayed here for 8 nights, and it was amazing! The room I got was a single king standard room. The bed was so comfortable and the room was very clean. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. I asked for extra water, and it was there right away. I also used the gym and sauna, which were both great! I used room service one night, and it was so fast and easy with amazing food.

Room was clean and spacious. We were there for a business event and the conference room was crowded, the food was ok at best, and in the evening the drinks were insanely expensive.

The hotel is very nice / standard but the staff are outstanding. They are always polite, friendly, helpful and in a good mood regardless of what crazy time we check in. Thanks for being so welcoming!
