This is a very good hotel in an excellent location and I would highly recommend it. However, i rated it 4 stars for two main reasons. First, how helpful or friendly the service is very much dependent on who you speak with / encounter. The first person who helped me check in wasn't very helpful to address my queries on the gym, but the second person I spoke with went beyond her means to help. Second, and this could be an isolated incident but I had to change rooms during my stay due to a leak in the toilet ceiling. This was inconvenient as I had to re-pack and unpack again, although I appreciated the hotel accommodating my request in the choice of relocated room. The view from the lobby is also great. And I appreciated the welcome snacks and drinks in the room. The rooms are also comfortable though I would have preferred the air-conditioning to be a little stronger (it has a cap and will only adjust if the current temperature is more than 3 degrees lower than what you set). Overall, I would recommend this hotel for it's excellent location in the heart of Hongdae and beside the subway (exit 1).

Excellent hotel near Hongik University station. Stayed 9 days in superior double room. Clean, comfortable, with great housekeeping (friendly staff). I had a room with great view, level 20, and plenty of light due to the floor to ceiling windows. When curtains are drawn, the room is kept very dark. Best of both worlds. Surprisingly, but important to us, the rooms are very quiet and you can barely hear anyone. Useful amenities: universal adapters, free water daily, laundry, and gym. Close to many food options as well. Highly recommended.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​!

We had an enjoyable stay at one of the hotels in Seoul. The hotel offered good value, a great location with fantastic views, and a quiet room on the 19th floor. The room was clean and well-equipped with amenities, and the bed was comfortable. The check-in and check-out process was quick. The only slightly disappointing aspect was the breakfast buffet. We had previously stayed at Lotte City Hotel in Myongdong and expected a similar quality buffet due to the same brand, but we found the quality different. However, the positive aspects of the hotel far outweigh the few negatives. The hotel's overall atmosphere is youthful and lively, reflecting the surrounding area of Hongdae, known for its vibrant culture. We noticed many young guests during our stay, but our room was very quiet, which made our stay very comfortable.

Great location, perfect spot to explore the city from due to access to green line (2). The staff is very helpful and attentive, they store bags for you as well and if you are or become a Lotte member you can enter your room before checkin time (if it is ready). Would recommend to ask for a room higher up as the street is busy all day and night and the soundproofing of L7 windows not perfect. The hotel is made for foreign tourists and they’re very good at this.

The room is extremely dirty with very obvious dust everywhere. There are also stains on the wall. We requested for another room which the other room was more dirty… They arranged a cleaner to help clean the room, however, they only used disposable wet wipes to wipe the dust, while only vacuuming the floor upon our further request. I’m very disappointed at this experience and I don’t think the standard is worth this price.
