Disappointing Stay with a So-Called "Upgrade" We were excited to check into this hotel, especially when they offered us a "free upgrade" upon arrival. However, the upgrade turned out to be a nightmare. The room we were given had a large window overlooking the indoor swimming pool, which might sound nice, but in reality, it was far from it. First and foremost, the hotel doesn't have air conditioning—a shocking discovery given the sweltering 90°F temperatures outside. Instead, they provided a simple fan, but it was so disgustingly dusty that it was a health hazard to even use it. Breathing in that air was unbearable. With no fresh air circulating and the room sealed off like a dusty basement, we were trapped in what felt like an oven. I genuinely don't know how we survived the night, and I shudder to think about the potential impact on our health. For the amount of money we paid, this experience was completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise against staying here, especially if you value your health and comfort. The lack of proper ventilation and cleanliness is inexcusable. This was, by far, one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had.

The accommodation is close to downtown and very near Lake Louise. The service is excellent. We stayed in a two-bedroom room on the 2nd floor of Building B. Inside, it's a duplex-style room with two bathrooms, a bathtub, air conditioning, and a heating system. If you come with a large family, this room can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. What I liked most was the fully equipped kitchen. The parking space is ample, and there are electrical outlets for every parking spot as well.

The hotel did not meet expectations, especially considering the price. The room was quite small and lacked the comfort typically expected for the rate charged. While the location and amenities may be decent, the room size and overall value do not justify the cost. I would recommend exploring other options.

Lake Louise Inn — The Worst Hotel Experience of My Life Our stay at this hotel was absolutely terrible. The floors were so cold that standing on them was impossible. When we complained about it, the staff brought us two small towels and suggested putting them on the floor instead of providing a proper carpet. This was an utterly inadequate solution. The crib for our child and the beds were uncomfortable and of terrible quality. Drafts came through the window, and cigarette smoke from the neighbors below filled our room, making it unbearable. We couldn’t open the window to ventilate. The heating system was unreliable, and pieces of the radiator were falling off. The entire room was old, dirty, and everything creaked. Because of these conditions, our child couldn’t sleep all night and kept crying. I returned home with back and neck pain. We left a day early because staying any longer was impossible, and we never received a refund for the last night. I do not recommend staying here. Spare yourself the stress, discomfort, and wasted money.

This was a combo work/pleasure stay for two nights. Everything was great and what you would expect from an older established hotel. I will be sure to book a few nights in the spring if I need a short getaway.
