Opening hours

Very happy with the stay at Hyatt. The bed was really comfy, the room was big, bathroom was well appointed and staff were great. We also enjoyed dinner and breakfast from the restaurant which were all very tasty

Thought long about writing this review but there are a couple of things I would have loved to know before I booked this. It is quite pricey and does not live up to the standard you would expect from a four star hotel or a Hyatt. Staff was not trained for the standard of such a hotel, they were friendly but a lot of them standing around, gossiping loudly with each other or even dancing in the hallway. Our room was nice, but the coffee machine had mold in it. This was obviously disgusting and just not what you’d expect. The spa was quite old and needed some general cleaning, from the pool tiles up to the gym. There is a tram just in front of the hotel which is super loud and leaves every 2 minutes. Even with earplugs, you hear it constantly. We were there for only one night, but I would not book this hotel again.

My girlfriend and I stayed here as part of our anniversary trip and had a great experience! Eric at the front desk was very helpful and started our stay off in an incredibly thoughtful way by sending up a bottle of champagne for us to celebrate with. The hotel is in a great location in downtown Calgary, very easy to get to and from. Our room was very clean and well maintained, and we loved the time we spent here!

We stayed here for 5 nights (we checked out this morning) and it was such a lovely stay. Check in was quick and the front desk agents were lovely. Any time we needed to request something they were prompt. We only had 1 small issue during our stay and it was addressed quickly and we were given drink vouchers for the inconvenience. The pool and hot tub were incredible and the fitness centre was also great.

I wish I had asked the name of the young man who checked us in. He couldn’t have been nicer. Our room was very big and very clean. The bathtub was deep and so clean I was able to take a bath. The towels were fluffy. The bed was comfortable. The location is perfect. The pedestrian only street is right out the side door. The train is two blocks away. I highly recommend and would stay here again.
