Great place for the family, been here twice with the kids. Food is not good, but the pizza is great. Breakfast buffet is good but the bacon was way to salty. The slides are the best part. The arcade is not bad and the laser tag was pretty fun. Would recommend to anyone just to visit at least once.

It's rather embarrassing the number of times we have gone to GWL. There is new management there, and they have done some much needed upgrades, so kudos there! The staff are always pleasant and for anyone with kids it's really a must go.
For newbies to Great Wolf, you don't even need to leave the hotel. All the food and hospitality is there, but go see the falls if you haven't:)
My feedback for improvements (after having been there ~26 times) is the rewards program. I would suggest asking the long-standing guests what would be some good options. Example room upgrades was always such a great perk, but not an option anymore. Most hotels do this, so I am not sure why it was removed.
Anyways, it was great to see the changes this past visit. We all had a great time.

I’m disappointed in our experience at Great Wolf. We had construction going on directly outside our room. We were given a notice AFTER we booked, notifying us of some upgrades taking place but the noticed claimed there would be minor inconveniences to the patio area which we didn’t mind seeing as its December and our time would be spent in the water park and hotel room. The construction company was hammer drilling into the exterior wall directly outside of our patio door. It wasn’t a minor inconvenience to the patio area, it was so deafening loud you couldn’t hold a conversation. Anyone with a toddler knows how detrimental this would be to nap time and the remainder of your day. I will say, management at Great Wolf did offer us a 15% discount but when you’re paying the premium prices at Great Wolf 15% just wasn’t justifiable for the inconvenience incurred. It ended up ruining the remainder of our trip unfortunately. We left early.
As far as the venue goes it’s a great place for a family getaway. I wish our experience could have been better.

I visited with my 3-year-old, and at first, I thought she wouldn't be able to enjoy many of the slides due to the height restrictions. However, she could use four slides in total: two short ones, one long one, and one large slide that an adult can ride with her. While it's a place where kids aged 6 and up can enjoy even more, it was perfect for spending an entire day with my 3-year-old. I also liked that there were various events happening all day long in the lobby, and the dinner buffet was beyond my expectations—it was incredibly delicious! However, the hot tub was a bit cold, but it was fine since we could keep getting fresh towels. I'm not sure if the hot tub in the VIP area is warmer, though. It’s a fantastic place to visit with kids aged 3 and up!

The rooms were great. Check in and out was super easy. It really felt like we were on a mini vacation. I think what surprised us the most was how reasonable the food prices were. We were expecting them to be much higher considering that we were in Niagara Falls but really did not find this to be the case. There were so many things besides the water park for the kids to do. Our kids loved the dance party at night. It was a great way to add that little something and they were so tired that they fell asleep so easily
