The dinner was delicious, and the service was impeccable. The food was traditional and of good quality, which is to be expected in Quebec. I dined with a group of friends, and we all enjoyed our meals. However, I must mention that the portion size of the tartare was quite small compared to the other dishes. There were a lot of fries and salad, but not much meat. On a positive note, the hot chocolate and cocktails were excellent, and the Canadian music created a perfect atmosphere for our Canadian experience. I highly recommend this place.

Came here for brunch and the atmosphere is really cool. The brunch meal itself was alright. I found most of the dishes to be too sweet and the tourtier lacking in flavour. The restaurant has a lot of great reviews so I’d be interested in trying dinner here next time. The room decorations are really cool and the bathroom is not to be missed!

Absolutely loved our visit. We stopped by today for brunch. Everything was great, from the service to the food. For service, our waitress was awesome. She constantly checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. For food, three of us had the crepes, I had the fat boy omelet, and my wife had the boss sandwich, which she said is in the top 10 of sandwiches she has had. Also, I recommend using the restroom while there. Neat area with separate stalls and a tub with pipes coming down that you wash your hands.

I came in for breakfast on a Monday shortly after it opened at 8 am. I ordered the stuffed trout crepe , the waitress suggested I add a poached egg. It was wonderfully delicious! This place came recommended by locals the night before , I was not disappointed! On my way back to my hotel I even recommended it to tourists!

We were looking forward to this meal because of the many great reviews. The restaurant is decorated very Canadiana which was fitting. However, the dishes (French onion soup, meat pie nuggets, poutine, tourtiere and maple syrup pie) were unexceptional. Our son who loves poutine disliked the one here because the topping was a sweet spaghetti sauce. My husband’s tourtiere was too heavy on the cinnamon and nutmeg and my soup and nuggets were ordinary. To top it all off, our server spoke to the table behind us for 15 minutes! So sadly, La Buche was a big miss for us.
