K-ETA Exemption Countries (Tourism / Short-Term Stay)

  • Japan
  • Singapore
  • Taiwan

Important Information

K-ETA exemption is determined by nationality, not by place of residence.

Even if a traveler is exempt from K-ETA, final entry permission is granted by Korean immigration authorities upon arrival.

K-ETA exemption policies may be temporarily applied, extended, modified, or revoked depending on government decisions and diplomatic agreements.

Travelers whose nationality is not listed above are generally required to apply for and receive K-ETA approval prior to departure.
