During our short trip to Seoul, we had the pleasure of dining at this Korean BBQ restaurant. The modern and well-ventilated interior decor immediately caught our attention. Notably, there was no lingering BBQ smell after our meal, which is a refreshing change from some other places.
The restaurant’s choice of charcoal for grilling the meat was a delightful surprise. It not only added an extra layer of flavor to the grilled meat but also enhanced the overall dining experience. The quality of the meat was commendable—fresh and succulent. The skillful grilling by the serving staff ensured that each bite was tender and juicy, preserving the true essence of the meat.
To complete our perfect dinner, we paired our meal with makgeolli, a traditional Korean rice wine. The combination of flavors left us thoroughly satisfied.
Overall, this Korean BBQ restaurant is a must-visit for anyone exploring Seoul’s culinary scene.

This is an amazing BBQ place in Seoul! They have different cuts of beef, and once you order, a staff member will come to your table and cook it for you. I enjoyed the Hanwoo beef as well as other types and cuts of beef. Overall, I highly recommend trying this place if you want some good BBQ!

Service was fast, quick and efficient. Meat is a bit on the pricey side but the quality is sure good. They make you order minimum of 2 orders of the same type of meat which is weird to me why we can’t just have multiples and try more different ones. In the end for two people we only got to try 2 meats instead of 3 or 4 which was a huge bummer. Comes with a ton of side dishes as well

Maple Tree House was worth the hype! This restaurant is very large with a beautiful entrance, decorated with the iconic soju bottles. I went during lunch time without a reservation and was able to get seated right away. Not all of the servers speak English well, but the menu has English translations.
I ordered the maple bulgogi set lunch special (17,900 won), the premium Korean aged beef strip loin (49,500 won / 150 g), and the Jeju Korean black pork belly (19,900 won / 150 g). With the addition of banchan, I definitely over-ordered, but everything tasted so good, and the prices were reasonable for the amount of food that I got. I got the sense that my server was taking pity on me as a foreigner because she cooked all of my meats for me, which she wasn't doing for anyone else lol.
Overall, I recommend this place for your KBBQ fix.

Great food and worth the price however the service needs huge improvement. We came in 45 minutes before closing time and was greeted by a guy wearing glasses who was kind and took our order. There were 4 more tables aside from us. The ahjumma who was serving us was unfriendly and rude. I asked her if we could have the banchan refilled but she did not answer me so I repeated my question and she finally answered annoyingly in Korean "yes yes, can't you wait?" I can understand the language but is unable to communicate. As guests, I don't think we deserve this kind of treatment especially that this is quite a classy restaurant. They were also rushing customers by retrieving the empty bowls and kept on looking at their watch to make us feel
pressured. Will definitely not come back here despite the good food.
