My husband and I had a positive experience here. We booked here for our hotel wedding block and hosted our post wedding brunch.
Communication with the hotel was very good leading up to our wedding events and out guests had no issues with check in and getting pre-printed information cards to get to and from our wedding weekend events. We did request a few items to be in our room ahead of time and a few were not there when we checked in despite getting confirmation well in advance. Some of the items were there, however. I had to call the front desk a few times before we finally got everything we needed the night before my wedding. This was not ideal but in the end they were apologetic about a miscommunication and got us everything we needed promptly.
The Presidential Suite and attached parlor were perfect for a bunch of us getting hair and makeup services and was spacious. It has 2 bathrooms and the master bath is stunning.
The brunch was incredible with so many options for food and drinks. We were very impressed. Our guests loved the food.
Check in and out was easy and the staff were very friendly.
All in all this is a centrally located hotel, great staff, great for hotel blocks and weddings. We would absolutely use them again. Thanks Palomar team!

Came to the Kimpton for a work trip. The room was large and clean. Bed was very comfy. It was very quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The free wine happy hour was the icing on the cake. I'll definitely be returning.

I stayed here for a work conference for four days. The location was wonderful. There were so many things to walk to, tons of amazing food options for delivery, and the hotel itself had great room service. The staff was by far one of the best teams I've ever interacted with and I work for a resort company. We ate in the restaurant once and it was delicious. We had room service a couple of times and that was also delicious. When looking at my photos, please consider that I did not open the food boxes right away so there was extra condensation that is 100% not the hotel's fault. The food was hot and fresh when it was brought to me. The bed was extremely comfortable, the thermostat was easy to adjust and the room was clean. I will definitely be staying there again the next time I'm in Philadelphia.

This hotel has been my go-to for years. The location, amenities, personalized service directed towards its customer is absolutely amazing. To begin with, each guest is treated with a “what can we do to make your stay comfortable and personal. When you enter the intimate lobby, there is tastefulness everywhere, a roaring fireplace and a free wine and popcorn happy hour (besides the always plentiful flavored water and morning coffee). And cleanliness is a constant as the staff is working nonstop. This latest visit was for my birthday and I was meeting my daughter for an overnight celebration. When General Manager Carol Watson discovered this, she went above-and-beyond to make my short stay amazing. At a time when customer service is literally void, this kind woman and her staff know how to make a loyal customer feel like more than just an everyday guest. A birthday to remember and a very satisfied Kimpton customer. Thanks to the entire team and Carol…see you again soon.

Mark and the rest of the front desk staff were terrible to deal with. Customer service was very poor. We booked the hotel as part of a birthday celebration. Upon check in we were met with a huge attitude. The room we booked was not as advertised. When we inquired with the hotel to adjust our stay and accommodate our room as advertised we were met with a very rude and unhelpful attitude. I will never stay here again! This hotel is described as a luxury hotel. NOTHING about our room or the hotel is luxury.
