Super cheap and quality expected of a Marriott. Please understand tho that this is Asia and you're paying for a budget hotel so it is SMALL. For this quality and location something has to give and it's the size of room. Highly recommended for the solo traveler on a budget but wants a nicer place than a hostel without breaking the bank. That said this is a great location and price and I use this location during double points months (usually off-season) to build status ?.

It was a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is great, situated near Haewoondae, and there are numerous restaurants in the vicinity. Many places are within walking distance including club D oasis. However, I didn’t feel the benefits of my Marriott Titanium Elite Tier membership. There’s no complimentary breakfast, room upgrades, or welcome drinks. And the parking situation is a real pain. My car can’t park directly at the hotel, and if it could, there’s an additional fee. I had to park it at the public parking lot, which is at 10-minute walking distance. I understand that the area is quite busy and distracting, but it’s still inconvenient.

Ignore the other negative reviews. This is the best $40 a night hotel I've ever stayed in. If you are a Bonvoy member and like the convenience of booking through Marriott, this place is excellent for the price. Great location, close to many restaurants, the beach, and 10 minutes walk from Haeundae station. I wouldn't bother with the breakfast, there is so much to eat right outside. Laundry in the basement was a great touch. Clean, convenient, and cheap! 2 people max per room.

- the toilet is not enclosed with a door. It’s just open to the rest of the room. Same with shower. - no microwave in room. No microwave on property. You have to use the microwave at the convenience store next door. - no laundry service. Just coin laundry in basement. Only 1 washer, 1 dryer for everyone. - safe was out of battery. Did not work. - phone can unlock door but cannot activate elevator. - room is claustrophobic and I’ve worked on a submarine.

The main thing I didn’t like was that, there isn’t a microwave! Please get a microwave at least 1 for the building to share! There are A LOT of places to eat if you talk a 10/15 minute walk up the block or there are options immediately next door and across the street. Also, a big thing for me was that, YOU CAN NOT TURN ON THE AC IN THE WINTER!!!! They give you a sheet that says if you’re hot, open the window and turn off the heat. This was ok for at night but, I had a partial ocean view room and in the morning, when the sun is beaming inside, IT IS HOT HOT!!!! I was extremely uncomfortable, so much that, I cancelled my reservation at the Fairfield in Seoul bc they do the same thing. The room was clean and the staff, very friendly. If is kinda far from the airport/train station but Ubers aren’t too expensive…just allow yourself time for traffic.
