1) Apparently this hotel has pet friendly floors but they put us on a floor with pets even though we don’t have pets and they didn’t even ask if anyone in out group has allergies or not. 2) the floors of the corridor aren’t clean. I haven’t seen them vacuumed for our entire stay of 4 days. Yes I can tell because the same dust stuff is still around. 3) there is some kind of leak or something in our room which leads to the carpet being wet. It’s wet even though we didn’t spill anything. They supposedly cane to “clean” the room but they did nothing about this. 4) i put my swimsuit on the chair to dry and I came to find it on the floor. Not to mention the room carpet is also not clean. 5) they say they will come to clean on the third day of our stay but I still needed to go talk to them to make sure. I asked specifically to ensure they do renew our towels and they still didn’t take all the towels even though it’s clear they had been used and they didn’t even leave enough many clean towels. It’s clear from the reservation how many we are, we already had to ask for extra so they collected 3 sets from the room, so they should know how many are needed. 6) When I specifically asked about the “cleaning”, I told them “yes please change the sheets” (because for some reason they ask about it?!?! You are already not giving housekeeping every day, you can at least change the sheets when you do it on the third day) but came to find the same sheets again—I know because they actually gave us sheets with stains so I can recognize them. 7) they didn’t even refill the carton cups they gave us in the room. They literally only took the garbage and fave less towels than they took. They promise “full housekeeping every 3rd day”. I do not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. 8) the room stinks. 9) dogs bark all night (again, we didn’t ask for a pet friendly room or floor). 10) bathroom smells bad. 11) the bathtub wasn’t cleaned during the “housekeeping” and I don’t think it was clean in the first place either. 12) the drains are bad. Water takes a long time to drain which makes the sink and the tub gross. 13) entrances from garage is not accessible. There are stairs and doors without automatic buttons. 14) signage to parking lot is non-existent. Signage for coming from parking lot back to hotel is also non-existent. We had to ask the security for help.

Not bad
Hotel was reasonably priced, mid level, upon arrival staff was courteous and accommodating, check in was quick and easy. The overall condition of the hotel was dirty, hard floors were dirty upon arrival, and were in the same condition when I left. Detail cleaning clearly isn't being done as the entire place has a general unclean malaise about it. The room was tidy, well appointed and clean, except for the carpeting, it looked like it hasn't been cleaned in some time with heavy traffic lines through the middle of the room. When I entered the room, the strong smell equivalent of dirty socks was quite strong, thankfully it wasn't the linens and I had gotten in too late to bother staff to change it. Beds were comfortable though. Radisson Sudbury, get your shit together, your staff is half assing it and it shows

***HIGHLY RECOMMEND INSPECTING ROOM BEFORE STAY*** Finally able to have a little family vacation with my husband, a 3 year old, 2 year old and our dog and drive 4 hours to Radisson hotel and visit science North. Booked 2 night stay Wednesday Nov 27 to Friday Nov 29, 2024 and when arrived at the hotel they said their pool was out of service so right from the start it was a shit show. Then they told us that they can only accommodate 1 night and to cancel the reservation on choice privilege and rebook it. Finally when we got our room key parking and finding our room was a maze and no direction was given. Walked into room 325 the smell was extremely musty. Old pop bottle was behind curtains, food crumbs in bathroom, food on wall and on shower gel. Later that evening the ceiling started leaking and dripping water on floor and chair. Seems like this is an ongoing issue cause paint was covering up the mold. Then my 2 year old daughter found Advil on the floor!!!! We couldn’t get out of there faster. ***HIGHLY RECOMMEND INSPECTING ROOM BEFORE STAY***

Good!
I recently stayed at the Radisson Hotel in Sudbury and had a frustrating experience with their booking policy. When I initially checked in on Monday, I requested a room until Friday, but they could only guarantee availability through Thursday. I understood and began looking for other options. However, on Wednesday, I tried my luck to see if I could extend my stay for the extra night. To my surprise, they now had a room available for Friday—but at a significantly higher rate of $187, compared to the $127 I was already paying per night. I understand that rates can fluctuate based on occupancy, but I was still in the hotel as a guest, and my stay wasn’t over yet. Being asked to pay almost $50 more for one additional night left me feeling undervalued as a customer. This approach hurts customer loyalty, and I’m disappointed with how it was handled. I decided not to stay the extra night and will consider other hotels in the future. I wanted to share this experience for others to be aware of the policies they might encounter here.

Not bad
The hot tub has been broken for a long time. No mattress covers. I feel it is a health issue. Direct line for room service doesn't work. Zero ventilation in the bathroom. Staff were great and very friendly. Comp breakfast was very good. Male server was the best!
