Best part of the Sky Hub Lounge is that they are open 24 hours. But food is not served 24 hours. I came in on the red eye flight to transfer. It arrived at 4:30 am. All the lounge are closed and hard to find seats in the airport walkway. SHL is perfect for finding a comfortable seats and some snacks and drinks.

This is the contract lounge for AirAsia X business class. Food service is completely stopped between 6am - 6.30am when breakfast is being prepared, so if you visit at that time there is practically nothing available except coffee and drinks (can assume the same process applies during other meal times). There were some mini muffins out during this time but all other food displays had been removed. Have never seen this odd practice before in a lounge that is supposed to be operational 24 hours. No washroom in the lounge either and the lounge itself is pretty small.

There is fresh and delicious food and several different types of drinks available, from coffee to red wine. The only grey point is that there is always a long and slow line to get inside.

The food was nice and a good selection, unlimited beer, wine, EW whiskey and sodas for drinks... No outlets to charge your things, no "rest areas to stretch out" - they are outside the lounge across and free, the showers are also outside the lounge, there is also a cool small play area at the end of the hall- also outside the lounge for free. So, if you are wanting to eat and drink then its a good place- otherwise everything else is outside the lounge.

Finding the lounge was a challenge. It is no longer at gate 25 but instead gate 12. There is limited signage, and we had to consult the Information Centre. When we entered, the person in front of us had an issue with their pass, which took around 10 minutes to resolve. This resulted in a queue backup that could have been mitigated with an additional staff member. After entry, the Lounge is adequate. There was plenty of variety for food and a limited bar consisting of draft beer, some wine, and a handful of spirits Drinking from a black plastic cup as an adult should be avoided, and an investment in glassware would be beneficial. We entered the lounge around 840pm and there was plenty of space. There is no toilet in the lounge, but it is not far away. Free fast wifi, a cleaner working non-stop and friendly staff.
