I just arrived in Gangneung, rushed here because restaurants close at 10pm due to covid-19 restrictions... I am not sure if I am walking out full of food or happiness. We have been dealing with the pandemic situation for one and half year already. And during this time, it was the first time I was filled with happiness through food. I am a foodie, I love eating. But this food was just perfect. The bibimbap is already perfect, but the restaurant suggests that we eat the rice first and leave the other ark shells to eat with extra rice. This place was already enough, but we ordered one more rice serving. We are 2, but we eat for more than that. The seaweed soup was the best I have had so far. I wanted to give 6 starts to this restaurant, but I am giving 5 as there was only one thing I didn't like - the sausages given as side dishes. They were terrible. Everything else was 100/100. Gangneus rice wine is also one of the bests I had so far. I am in love with this place.

Delicious local seafood - highly recommend the cockles bibimbap! We also had the squid sundae which was delicious - I wasn't sure what to expect but it was stuffed squid that was then sliced, dipped in egg, & pan-fried. There are lots of tasty banchan & friendly service too!

The rice with clams were nice, full up your stomach. The tartar beef with pear also fine, the side dishes are nice.

The bibimbop and squid soondae are pretty good! They have free parking area near the park.
