I remember being amazed by this shop 8 years back when I first had it.. it shows how long this shop managed to last through the years and still remains efficient. Customers were asked to order first so that food is immediately served when the table is ready for them to be seated. EFFICIENT SIA I was looking forward to their grilled abalone but it was not as sweet as I remember it to be.. I enjoyed their complimentary fish on the other hand ???

Had 3 out of the 4 of their offerings and I must say that the grilled abalone was awesome. The abalone porridge and hot stone rice were also commendable. It was crowded even for a weekday but justifiable. Nice scenic spot with plenty of parking.

The grilled abalone here is REALLY REALLY nice! Tastes great just like that, probably because it's very fresh. The hot stone rice I think is ok. Grilled fish is great too.

The most anticipated meal of mine for the trip was finally had, and it did live up to its expectations ?? ?️ there’s an empty plot outside the restaurant which could potentially hold up to 20 cars ? There’s multiple ways to have the grilled abalone, from the butter to wasabi and chilli like thing - but I personally feel it’s best eaten by itself, so you can enjoy the freshness of the abalone. ? the stone pot rice was amazing as a “dessert” when you follow their recommended process to eat it - the rice itself was nice too, though I prefer the latter part weirdly, maybe because the flavours has then got time to sit and soak in the hot water ?? Porridge was okay, it wasn’t something we loved but definitely still a great dish. Overall it was a good tick off our checklist of restaurants here, definitely recommended to come earlier to avoid the crowd!
