Worst hotel experience. The hotel is 'modern' which i guess means closet sized room with zero amenities. The regular queen room was not large enough to fit our luggage. The back of bed lifts up to create more room, all doors are glass including the bathroom toilet. The woman overnight was so wonderful to help switch rooms, however, we terminated our reservation due to an unexpected 'security' issue.
A man pounded on our hotel door at 7am claiming he was security, meanwhile he was dressed in all black with no identification or uniform. He refused to identify himself and continued to demand entrance to our room due to a fire panel going off. There was no indication of an issue in our room. After about 10 min we finally convinced him to use his hotel key as identification. Once inside he berated us for not letting a stranger into our room just because he claims to be security.
It was a terrifying experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I worked as a Chief Engineer for a couple of Marriot brands and then as the Director of Engineering at a Hyatt resort, so I am pretty critical of hotels and the hospitality I receive. So with that being said; upon entering the hotel I was instantly greeted by Emily, the front desk associate that checked me in. Emily was not only very helpful with helping figure out where to park, but was very friendly/warm, and professional. Check in was fast and easy.
The room - it is nothing like I was expecting or have ever seen. It was small but manageable. The bed was extremely comfortable, too. I commend the housekeeping staff as the room was cleaned to literal perfection. Not just mostly clean or good enough, brand new like clean. I am not sure about the age of the facility but the upkeep in the room was also superb. The RFID reader could probably use a flash or an update.
Easy to get to from the interstate. Everything was easy! And that is hugely important to me when traveling. Kudos to the staff at Yotel Boston. Good work.

I remember reading the reviews for this location before booking for a night away from home. I was almost scared to enter to check-in, but Kobe was there to make everything quick and efficient! From the start I was warmly welcomed and brought through all of the conditions of the room and what amenities YOTEL was able to provide for me. He was great with answering and handling all the questions I had about my booking.
The room it self was amazing. I booked a Premium Queen Room which was cozy and had an amazing view of Seaport. The room itself is a lot different from most hotels, which I had already known. It was a modern twist with a very minimalist design.
The room, amenities, and staff were incredibly welcoming and made my experience hassle-free. I would recommend for anyone looking to spend a great time in Seaport.

I recently stayed here for a last minute corporate trip, only because my preferred hotel was sold out and this hotel seemed to have decent reviews from fellow colleagues.
This hotel isn’t horrible, but way overpriced for the tiny rooms and amenities.
The good points:
The location is great for the seaport area and proximity to South Station.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Wi-Fi performance was decent most of the time.
The not-so-good:
Limited usable storage space.
No extra seating or work area beyond a folding chair and extension shelf.
No closet, just a handful of hangars on a tiny open air rack.
Horrible room lighting provided only by a tacky multi-color backlight near the TV.
Extremely loud heating system.
Horrible water pressure and limited hot water in the mornings.
No storage area in the bathroom beyond and inch or two on each side of the sink.
And so on….
There are much better places in this part of town, at basically the same price. Won’t be staying here again.

I'm glad I only needed the room for 1 night. These new style beds -- that motorize between being a couch to being a bed -- squeak when you roll over in the night. The paper thin walls allowed me to hear my neighbor motorized their bed back into a couch to regain floor space soon after I got to hear their alarm at 4am. The added facility fee that had to be on my personal card instead of the corporate pre-paid room charge is a rip-off to every business traveler. The only good things for this hotel are the restaurant/bars and the excellent staff, but if you like sleep you might want a different hotel.
